Ansel Adams was a very well-known photographer for his black and white photos.  Adams managed to earn what he termed a "Legitimizing diploma" from the Mrs. Kate M. Wilkins Private School. Ansel had another profession besides being a photographer.  He enjoyed playing the piano and wanted to do it for a profession and ended up playing it for a long time. His first fully visualized photography, monolith, the Face of the Dome was created in 1927. A few things about Ansel was that when he was only four an aftershock of the great earthquake and fire of 1906 threw him to the ground and badly broke his nose, distinctly marking him for life. Because of him breaking his nose it caused Adams to have problems fitting in at school. Later in life he noted that he might have been diagnosed as hyperactive. There is also the distinct possibility that he may have suffered from dyslexia. I chose this picture because I love how it looks like the clouds are devouring the mountain.  All the shadows in the clouds are really visual as well as on the water and mountains.

I like this photo because it really focuses on the sun and shows the affect it has on the field and the sky.  it makes the grass shine and really bring its color out. For the sky, it really bring out the shadows the clouds make and makes the sky look really cool.

This picture is really cool because a normal picture would only get a few horses running but, this photo it shows all of the horses running. I like how they took the color out of it and that the dust they're making is really visual.

Found Faces Story

Hey!  My name name is Mrs. Gr8 8! I have a wonderful family of eight and have two pairs of triplets. Three boys and three girls. Making a total of eight people in my amazing family.   You're probably wondering how I keep up with my busy family and honestly, I have no idea, I just keep running with it.  But I'm a stay at home mom so what else do I have to do in my day?  It keeps me busy and that's all I need! All I do for a job is make clothing for my kids.  I use to work at clothing place so I got really good at designing and making clothes.  Now, I just have my job at home so I can still take care of my kids as well.  For my free time, whenever I can get it, you probably would never guess what I love to do but, I'll tell you anyways. I love to run! I've been running all my life and I'd say you should come see me run but,  you might not be able to see me because I'll be running to fast!  Its a way for me to just get away from my hectic life.  Moms need breaks too ya know!  Running isn't all that I love to do though.  I make sure to keep this hidden talent of mine on the down low so no body knows.  If you can keep a secret I'll tell you....I love to sing!  Whenever I'm home alone and the kids are at school it becomes a concert at my house!  The next day my kids might ask why my voice sounds like I lost it and I just say I have a soar throat.  I get soar throats a lot apparently.  Well, now you know all about me and my secrets I hope one day we can have a chance to meet and talk a little about yourself too.  If you need anything you always know where to find me, on the track!

I like how this horse is made completely out of this twisted looking wood. The background in this photo makes it easy to guess the season (fall) . Also, it looks like it is early in the morning with the grass still damp and the fog fading in the back.
